(GSM Insider) - Rumor: LG Optimus GK Launching At MWC 2013 Instead of LG Optimus G2.
While everyone waiting for the LG Optimus G2 arrival on next month, source from Korea dropped a bomb. The LG Optimus G2 not coming to the Mobile World Congress 2013 on next month.
The main character of MWC 2013 is the LG Optimus GK instead of the LG Optimus G2. LG Optimus G2 will delay further to summer.
Actually, this is not the first time LG Optimus GK surfaced. The LG Optimus GK along with LG Optimus G2 were leaked earlier at the internal document.
From this view, the LG Optimus GK is set to compete in the 1080p device market. Devices like HTC Butterfly, Huawei Ascend D2 and ZTE Grand S are flooded the market with same 5-inch 1080p display and quad-core processor. The main aim for LG Optimus GK is for compete with those devices.
On the other hands, the LG Optimus G2 will delay further. If LG Optimus G2 is launching with the 1080p display same like others, it brings nothing special at all. This could be the possible reason why LG Optimus GK will launch at MWC 2013 instead of LG Optimus G2.
