Asus Explains It Took How Long To Build Google Nexus 7 Tablet



(GSM Insider) - Recently, ASUS stated that the build of Android powered Google Nexus 7 tablet is a kind of torture. But how many people know whats really going on with the partnership of Google and Asus on the Nexus 7 tablet. 

Forbes able to get an interviews with Head of ASUS UK regarding the build of Google Nexus 7 tablet. According to Yeh: "Our top executives met Google’s top executives at CES to talk about opportunities and how they saw the future market. That’s when we came up with the idea of the Google Nexus 7 by Asus. That was in January, and mass production started in May. 

So, that was four months. For a mass-market device, from concept to mass production, we’re talking about six to twelve months. Six months is very tight…"
