Report: China Mobile is No.1 in Profits, AT&T is No.1 in Income

(GSM Insider) - In the latest reports found out that China Mobile scores the highest profits among mobile carriers in the world in year 2012. China Mobile is world's largest mobile operator in terms of subscriber.

In the latest reports, China Mobile ranked the first ahead of Vodafone UK and Verizon of United States. Last year, this throne was hold by AT&T. In year 2012, AT&T ranked at only 9th position. The fourth position was Telefonica, followed by NTT Docomo, America Movil, France Telecom and Softbank. 

However, from the income. AT&T ranked at the first position as it scores highest income among others. The second highest is the NTT Docomo and the third is Verizon of United States. China Mobile ranked at the fourth position for income.

From here, we believed that China based operators will continue to perform well due to the large subscribers.
