Lenovo President Hints At Windows Phone Device In Works

(GSM Insider) - Lenovo President Hints At Windows Phone Device.

It isn't easy to keep secret especially the company is working on some particular new devices. This is because the high level executives will have the priority to take those "Prototypes" before anyone else. But those high level executives usually forgot that they are using the prototypes and revealed the secret accidentally.

Earlier, One of the Lenovo high executives were spotted that posted on Weibo using the Windows Phone device. So what is the Windows Phone? Current Windows Phone? The answer is no, not the current Windows Phones in the market.

This is because if he uses a current Windows Phone device to post on his Weibo then the Weibo will recognize the phone model. If you posted with Nokia Lumia 920 then it will show the Weibo posted by Nokia Lumia 920 and not "Windows Phone device".

This indicates that the possibilities that Lenovo is working on Windows Phone are high. But when the Lenovo Windows Phone is coming soon? Don't know yet.

Huawei Aims To Topple Samsung And Apple In The Mobile Phone Market Within Five Years

(GSM Insider) - Huawei Aims To Topple Samsung And Apple In The Mobile Phone Market Within Five Years.

You might feel that Huawei is living in its dream as it will never become the world's largest mobile phone maker or world's second largest phone maker since Samsung and Apple has been dominated the market for two years. But who knows what's going on in five years time?

Five years equal to sixty months. Nobody knows what's going to happen in the next sixty month isn't it? Huawei, the Chinese manufacturer aims to become world's largest mobile phone maker in five years time. That's a huge ambition.

Since the China overtook the United States as the world's largest mobile phone market, Huawei and other Chinese manufacturers are on the right path. Every company wants to be part of the world's largest mobile phone market. Those based in other countries outside the United States surely want to get something out from the market. But it won't be easy after all.

Just take the social network as an example. Those living in the China do not use the Facebook or Twitter or Google+ but they are using the Weibo and QQ as their main social networks. Maybe you can say that the Chinese government that blocked the people from using foreign social networks. It is acceptable. Let's move on.

For the mobile phone, the company likes Huawei existed long time before other companies. Nobody understands the Chinese then those Chinese companies isn't it? Definitely that Huawei is going to introduce something suitable for its own people.

Huawei, ZTE and XiaoMi are some of the leading mobile phone makers in China. They are able to offer devices in cheaper price while the specs are on par. You might say that those Chinese made devices are low in quality. But you don't forget that there were many Chinese devices already arrived in foreign countries especially from Huawei and ZTE.

Huawei Ascend D2, Huawei Ascend Mate and Huawei Ascend P2 LTE are on par with many devices in the market. If you say about Full HD device, Huawei Ascend D2 is the one. If you say about phablet like Samsung Galaxy Note 2, Huawei Ascend Mate is even bigger. If you ask about 4G LTE device, Huawei Ascend P2 LTE is the world's fastest LTE handset. Actually, the Huawei isn't bad after all.

According to chief executive from Huawei Devices, the company currently has a lot of engineers and developers that working hard to ensure it remains competitive in the market. Not only on Android devices as Huawei also works on Windows Phone as well. Wan stated that the possibilities of Huawei becoming the world's top mobile phone maker is very high because no one knows what is going to happen in the next five years. Wan assured that at least the Chinese company going to make it into top 3.

HTC One vs Nokia Lumia 920 - Ultrapixel Camera And PureView Camera, But Which One Better?

(GSM Insider) - HTC One vs Nokia Lumia 920 - Ultrapixel Camera And PureView Camera, But Which One Better?

In a recent post, GSM Insider compared the specs between the new HTC One against Nokia Lumia 920 and Nokia Lumia 820. In this post, it's about the comparison between the Ultrapixel Camera and the PureView Camera.

When HTC launched the new HTC One, the main attention was focused on the Ultrapixel Camera. This Ultrapixel Camera is said to be a breakthrough for the smartphone and its time to say goodbye to megapixel.  On the other hand, Nokia brought the PureView Camera from the Nokia 808 PureView and used it in the Nokia Lumia 920. Nokia described the PureView Camera is the best in the industry. Since HTC and Nokia said that their own camera is the best, you might want to know the comparison between the Ultrapixel Camera and PureView Camera. The answers at below:

Image / photo captured by PureView Camera of Nokia Lumia 920

Image / photo captured by PureView Camera of Nokia Lumia 920

Image / photo captured by Ultrapixel Camera of new HTC One

Image / photo captured by Ultrapixel Camera of new HTC One

To remind you that the HTC One that captured these images above did not install with any software since it is not the final version. Only the HTC Zoe was running while the images being captured. On the other hand, the Nokia Lumia 920 is the consumer product. The PureView Camera with default settings being used for capturing the images above.

From the first set of images / photos, the one that captured by Nokia Lumia 920 is definitely looking sharper and brighter than the HTC One. The PureView Camera offers richer details about the image while Ultrapixel Camera not really impressive.

From the second set of images / photos, the one that captured by Ultrapixel Camera of HTC One looks a bit darker while the one captured by PureView of Nokia Lumia 920 looks sharper and rich in colors.

From the third set of images / photos, the answer is clear and the PureView Camera of Nokia Lumia 920 defeats the Ultrapixel Camera of HTC One. The image captured by the PureView Camera looks more golden in color while the Ultrapixel Camera's image looks grey-ish and darker.

Although the images above clearly showed that PureView Camera works greatly under the low light conditions. But more photo samples are require to proof the PureView Camera is the clear cut winner over the Ultrapixel Camera.
