(GSM Insider) - Seems like this is a bad news for those who are not using the latest operating system from Microsoft. The latest information revealed that the DirectX 11.1 is not compatible with the Windows 7 or below.
DirectX 11.1 is the latest version of 3D image API from Microsoft. If compare to the DirectX 11, the 11.1 version is even better 3D graphic quality. Those gamers who having DirectX 11.1 no need any extra graphic cards but just an extra 3D spectacle to view it.
This is not going to be the case of DirectX 11 as you need NVIDIA 3D Vision or AMD HD 3D graphic cards to support it. This will be the extra burden for those who having the Windows 7 operating system.
At the moment, Microsoft plans to release DirectX 11.1 to Windows 8, Windows RT and Windows Server 2012 only. So for those who having Windows 7 but do not wish to upgrade to Windows 8, you need to make a good choice in this matter.
