(GSM Insider) - When you said about iPad and iPhone, both are getting high and impressive sales in most of the countries in the world. So how popular the Apple in the world's largest smartphone market?
The Apple is not as popular as you might think in China. Some unknown brand is even better than the Cupertino based company. Samsung remains at the top of the list, followed by Lenovo, Coolpad, ZTE and Huawei. Surprisingly, the Huawei is on the fifth position which is lower than rival ZTE.
The biggest surprise is the Coolpad on third position. Most of you hardly heard this Chinese brand before as its devices are seldom on sales in overseas. Only a few of Coolpad devices are successfully on sales in the United States.
One of the main reasons is the Chinese always seek for budget and affordable smartphone. They never emphasized on the branded device. Some Chinese smartphone can go for as low as $99, while the price of iPhone 5 is high at $730. Just compare the price margin then it is easy to understand the demand of Chinese.
