(GSM Insider) - HTC Surround Receives Windows Phone 7.8 Update Via Custom ROM
If you are HTC Surround user, the Windows Phone 7.8 update might never come to your device. There are no news on this HTC Surround from either AT&T or HTC regarding the WP7.8 update. However, developers started developing the custom ROM for this device.
Recently, ROM develop Lars unveils the Windows Phone 7.8 custom ROM for the HTC Surround. This custom ROM has no major bug and supports English and Dutch.
Since this is the custom ROM, so it is not considers as the official update from HTC. If you wish to get the official WP7.8 update from HTC, GSM Insider is not sure how long you gonna wait.
