(GSM Insider) - Perhaps you heard not much about Acer smartphones because their are more popular with their Acer IconiaTab series tablet. But they are now ready to enter the smartphone market.
According to Acer CEO, Acer ready to enter the smartphone market in European countries, China and South East Asia with at least six smartphones. One of the six smartphones is runs on the Windows Phone 8 and the rest runs on Android operating system. Some of them will be high end device that equipped with Qualcomm processor.
Acer also interested to launch Acer Liquid Galant and Acer Liquid Glow to the European market. With the new smartphones, Acer hopes to enter the South East Asia markets include Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia and India.
