Yesterday, Taiwan is the first country to get the Sony Xperia Z L36h and Sony Xperia ZL L35h. Later, both devices were launched in China as well. Sony makes a quick move to enter the world's largest smartphone market.
The Sony Xperia Z and Sony Xperia ZL that launched in Taiwan and China are the same model. The model number of Sony Xperia Z in China is L36h while Sony Xperia ZL is L35h.
Sony Xperia Z L36h and Xperia ZL L35h having a 5-inch 1080p Full HD IPS display with Mobile Bravia Engine 2 and OptiContrast panel technologies. Both devices are powered by 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM.
Sony Xperia Z L36h and Xperia ZL L35h pack with 16GB of internal memory and supports micro SD expansion. The camera on Sony Xperia Z L36h and Xperia ZL L35h are 13-megapixels with Exmor R lens that supports HDR video recording and burst shot. These two phablet are running on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean with Xperia UI.
The different between Sony Xperia Z L36h and Xperia ZL L35h is the Sony Xperia Z having water-proof, dust-proof and scratch proof but Sony Xperia ZL does not have these features. The back cover of Sony Xperia Z L36h is made from glass but not the case of Sony Xperia ZL L35h. Sony Xperia Z L36h has 7.9mm body and 2330mAh battery and Sony Xperia ZL L35h has 9.8mm body and 2550mAh battery.
