(GSM Insider) - LG Set To Join Windows Phone 8 Party This Year With Multiple Devices.

Windows Phone has been on the rise on the past few months. Nokia, HTC, Samsung and Huawei are the current OEMs that manufacturing Windows Phone 8 devices.

Last week, GSM Insider revealed that Lenovo set to join the Windows Phone 8 party. And now LG is interested in the Windows Phone 8 as well.

"We will release quite a number of new Optimus devices this year and LG also has some new smartphones in the works, that will run Microsoft’s Windows Phone 8" - a senior executive from one of LG’s local partners


This showed that there are more than one Windows Phone 8 device coming from the Korean manufacturer. LG will provide another alternative for customer in the future.

LG is not strange to the Windows Phone as it has launched a few smartphones that running on the operating system from Microsoft.
