(GSM Insider) - HTC Says Agreement With Apple Brings Devices With Better Innovation In Future.

Back in early November last year, HTC and Apple reached patents agreement for the coming ten years. The agreement extends to current and future patents held by both parties.

After the agreement was announced, there were rumours stated that HTC going to pay $6-8 per device sold. But HTC strongly denied the allegation.

In the recent interviews with Ray Yam, President of HTC China stated his views on the agreement with Apple. He stated that HTC wasted too much money on the lawsuit against Apple. It was the correct time for the agreement and the company able to take another step forward. It is important for a technology remains innovated.

From this point of view, he simply means that with the agreement between HTC and Apple then the company able to concentrate on the development of future devices. During 2013 - 2023, both HTC and Apple share the patents between each other. Off course, we knew nothing details regarding the agreement.

For the year 2013, there are few more devices coming soon. HTC M7 is said to be the next flagship from HTC. The current HTC Butterfly is coming to more regions in this year.
