Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is the first Samsung device preloaded with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. It is the current flagship phablet for the Korea company. 

Samsung is not slow down on releasing the update to its devices. Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and Samsung Galaxy Note 2 LTE are receiving the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update now. 

Both devices that receiving the Jelly Bean update is the international or global version. The specific names for both devices are Samsung Galaxy Note 2 GT-N7100 and Samsung Galaxy Note 2 GT-N7105. It is important to see the model numbers to make sure you owned the current model. 


Here are some new features that available after the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update: 
  • New additions in Notification Toggles
  • Notification Panel can now be customized
  • Brightness Slider in Notification Panel can be disabled
  • Multi-View can be disabled
  • Smoother browser
  • Status Bar has been changed from Grey to Black
  • Continues Input in Samsung Keyboard
  • New Ink Effect on Lockscreen
  • New Group Cast app


The update can be done via OTA (over-the-air) or via Kies Air software. The update is expected to release by batch, so dont disappointed if your Galaxy Note 2 / Note 2 LTE is yet to receive the update.
