(GSM Insider) - Samsung Aims To Sell 500 million Phones in 2013

At the moment, Samsung already the world's largest smartphone and phone maker ahead of Apple and Nokia. In the near future, no company able to overtake Samsung.


Samsung not going to stop at this stage as its target is higher for the next year. According to Korea Times, Samsung set to ship 500 million of phones on 2013. The phones include the smartphones and feature phones. With such huge numbers, it is really hard for rivals to catch up on Samsung.

In the year 2013, Samsung continues to develop its Galaxy line which is concentrates on Android devices. However, Windows Phone is another attention for Samsung. Many analysts predicted that the Windows Phone going to reach maturity on 2015. With few more years to go, it is the perfect time for Samsung to introduce more Windows Phone devices soon. 

2013 will be another interesting year for the phone industry especially the battle between Android, Windows Phone, Apple's iOS and BlackBerry 10.
