(GSM Insider) - This is the first time the back cover of LG Nexus 4 removed and revealed us the components under the back cover. There is nothing surprise as a 2100mAh battery spotted under the back cover.
The interesting part is the battery is replaceable. It is definitely same like other smartphone which has replaceable battery. But the things of LG Nexus 4 go abit complex.
You are unable to change the battery itself. First of all, you are unable to remove the screws on the device as the tools are not available easily. Secondly, the wires and antenna are embedded to the back cover. It requires high level of engineering knowledge to completely remove the battery without any damages done on the wiring.
So, here are our advices. Never tried to remove the back even you have the tools that compatible with the screws. Anything happens to the LG Nexus 4, you should report to Google instead of repair it yourself.
