HTC Unveils Two New Smartphones At Taipei - HTC One X+ and HTC One S Special Edition

(GSM Insider) - It is a busy day for Taiwanese in Taipei as Asus and HTC holding their own event to introduce the new products. Asus unveils the Asus Padfone 2 while HTC unveils two new smartphone - HTC One X+ and HTC One S Special Edition. HTC One X+ is not a new device as it already announced weeks ago.


First of all, lets revise on the specs of HTC One X+. Basically, HTC One X+ is the upgraded version of HTC One X. The overall design still remains the same like the HTC One X. The processor has been upgraded to 1.7GHz Tegra 3 quad-core processor and the ROM storage also upgraded to 64GB. The preloaded Android version of HTC One X+ is Android 4.1 Jelly Bean while the HTC Sense is the enhance version of HTC Sense 4+. It is available on Black and White two colours. At the press event, HTC unveils the HTC One S Special Edition. It is considers as an upgraded version of HTC One S. The processor has been upgraded to 1.5GHz Snapragon S4 processor and the ROM storage is now 64GB. HTC One S Special Edition also comes with HTC Sense 4+ and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. 

At the event, HTC promised that Android 4.1 Jelly Bean coming to HTC One X and HTC One S as well. The price of HTC One X+ in Taiwan is TWD $20900 ($4500 YUAN) while the HTC One S Special Edition is priced at TWD $17900 ($3850 YUAN).
