End of Symbian Era After Belle FP2 Was The Last Update

(GSM Insider) - Five years ago, Symbian still dominating the world with Nokia devices like Nokia 5800, Nokia 6680, Nokia 3230 and Nokia 6600. However, this was the past and every going to end soon.


Nokia confirms that Belle FP2 was the last update for the Symbian operating system. There will no more update coming afterward as Nokia decided to drop Symbian into "Maintenance Mode". In other words, there will be no more new development on the Symbian. This day has arrives after Nokia announced Windows Phone is the priority. With the Nokia all in with Windows Phone, the is the end of a mobile operating era.  [Nokia Developer]
