(GSM Insider) - Huawei is among Nokia, HTC and Samsung are the first batch of manufacturers to produce the Windows Phone 8 device. After other three has introduced their own Windows Phone 8 devices, its the show time for Chinese manufacturer Huawei. Seems like the Windows Phone 8 device from Huawei is not far from launch after the handset leaks in China.
At the moment, first Windows phone 8 device from Huawei is said to be the Huawei Ascend W1. The alphabet "W" represents the Windows Phone operating system. There are no confirmation from Huawei yet on the official name.
The alleged Huawei Ascend W1 Windows Phone 8 device looks really like the Nokia Lumia devices especially the colour. We knew that Nokia Lumia series is famous with the cyan colour. Huawei Ascend W1 Windows Phone 8 device also spotted with cyan colour. Is Huawei copied from Nokia Lumia? Perhaps.
It is abit surprise that the leaked images do not show the brand of the device as you can see there is a white tape to cover the brand at the front top of front casing. But we can clearly see three touchscreen button on the bottom of front casing and "Windows Phone" logo at back.
Since it is leaks from China Weibo, there are high percentages that it is the Huawei Ascend W1. [China Weibo]
