(GSM Insider) - At the IFA 2012 in Berlin, Sony Mobile announced their first ever Xperia brand tablet -- Sony Xperia Tablet S. And now, this quad-core tablet will on sale in Japan starts from September 15th.
According to Sony Mobile, the Sony Xperia Tablet S will available at September 15th in Japan. There are three versions of Sony Xperia Tablet S. Sony Xperia Tablet S 16GB price at 39800 YEN. Sony Xperia Tablet S 32GB price at 47800 YEN and Sony Xperia Tablet S 64GB price at 55800 YEN.
The Sony Xperia Tablet S looks similar like the original Sony Tablet S design. The thickness of Sony Xperia Tablet S is 8.8mm slim. The display is 9.4 inch display with 1280 x 800 resolution. It runs on 1.4GHz Tegra 3 quad-core processor and 1GB of RAM. The rear camera is 8MP while the front camera is 1.3MP. To make this tablet special, it is a IPX4 standard water resistant tablet. Off course, the operating system is Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
