Nokia Shares Increased 6.91% After "Boring" iPhone 5 Announced

(GSM Insider) - Most of the gadget geeks thought that Apple iPhone 5 is a boring iPhone. Nothing new in design from iPhone 5 as the iPhone 5 similar with iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S. This "boring" iPhone 5 might be a good news for other competitors, especially for Nokia

There are many expects said its going to the for Nokia even they decided to gamble on Windows Phone. Nokia shares continue to slump after the launched of Nokia Lumia 920 and Lumia 820. But things had changed. After Apple iPhone 5 launched, Nokia shares rise to $2.94 or equivalent to 6.91%.

The iPhone 5 still the dominate smartphone for Apple. But Apple no longer able to bring innovative and creativity to the iPhone 5. This gives chances for other manufacturers to close up the gap.

We can clearly see Nokia benefited from this situation. The Qi Wireless Charging technology and PureView HD+ display in Nokia Lumia 920 are the current leading technologies of the smartphone. Apple unable to bring these technologies due to the patents belong to Nokia. The same goes to Android devices as well.  [Source]
