LG Optimus G Pro was officially announced about two weeks before in the South Korea. This LG Optimus G Pro is the global version which is different from the Japanese version. The LG Optimus G Pro did make its appearance at the Mobile World Congress 2013 in Barcelona.

The LG Optimus G Pro global version is totally different from the LG Optimus G Pro in Japan. The LG Optimus G Pro in Japan features 5-inch FHD display and the design is similar to the LG Optimus G. On the other hand, LG Optimus G Pro global version has 5.5-inch display and the design is similar to the Samsung Galaxy Note 2.
Besides the Full HD resolution, the display on LG Optimus G Pro able to provide the 2.5D view. So it is quite close to 3D effect. LG Optimus G Pro is powered by 1.7GHz Snapdragon 600 APQ8064T quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM. It has 32GB of internal memory and supported MicroSD expansion up to 64GB large.
Other specs of LG Optimus G Pro include GPS, NFC, Bluetooth, LTE-enabled, MicroUSB port and 3140mAh battery. LG Optimus G Pro runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean platform. The measurement of LG Optimus G Pro is 150.2 x 76.1 x 9.4 mm while it is weighted at 160g.
