(GSM Insider) - Nano-SIM is one of the main attraction for iPhone 5 as Apple decided to replace micro-SIM that featured in iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S with the new Nano-SIM. However, Nano-SIM does bring many problems to carriers as they need to order Nano-SIMs for the iPhone 5.
There are no plans from world's largest carrier China Mobile to offer the latest iPhone 5 to its subscribers. But they plan to offer free exchange sim card service to their subscribers. Those who interested to exchange their SIM card to nano-SIM can get it free from China Mobile starts from end of September.
Although iPhone 5 hardly brings any surprises to user, but it expects to cause the buzz around Apple fans. Just like the iPhone 5 sold out at the pre-order within first hour in United States. China Telecom has reached agreement with Apple to offer iPhone 5. But it expects to reach China after three months.
This is a good move from China Mobile as they are able to maintain their customers from switching to other networks. Those who using China Mobile can purchase the unlocked iPhone 5 and then insert the nano-SIM and continue with the network. Good move from China Mobile! [Source]
