(GSM Insider) - Rumour: Huawei And Microsoft To Purchase Nokia Mobile Phone Division?
Although the Nokia Lumia 920 is popular and sold out in much of the countries where it was launched, but Nokia still struggling in the mobile phone market. The year 2012 was still a "quite bad" year for Nokia from overall performance.
Nokia has been existed in the market for very long time. There are many loyal customers believed that Nokia has the ability to turn the company around. But there were analysts that looked down on the ability of Nokia to survive.
Recently, Keepskor founder Tristan Louis told the media that there will be huge changes in the mobile telecommunication industry and the Nokia is the main character.
He added that Nokia was wrong by choosing Windows Phone operating system instead of Android. He wrapped up the interviews by stated that Microsoft and Huawei are the possible buyers for Nokia.
If Nokia really decided to sell off its mobile phone division to Microsoft and Huawei, then the network equipments and software could be the new focus point for Nokia.
On the other hand, if Microsoft successfully purchased Nokia, there are huge chances that Microsoft going to launch its own smartphone soon. Is Microsoft following the Google way? or Nokia following Ericsson's way?
