(GSM Insider) - Huawei Ascend D2 and Ascend Mate Get Green Light In China, Launching In Coming Weeks.
Both Huawei Ascend D2 and Huawei Ascend Mate are the latest flagships from the Chinese company. Both devices were launched at the CES 2013 last week.
Finally, the Huawei Ascend D2 and Huawei Ascend Mate were approved by the Chinese Authority. So the launch of these two devices are not far away.
The Huawei Ascend D2 comes with the model number of D2-0082. It is different from the Huawei Ascend D2 for China Telecom with the model number of D2-2012. Huawei Ascend Mate comes with the model number of MT1-U06.
Huawei Ascend D2 packs with 5-inch 1080p full HD display, 1.5GHz Hi-Silicon K3V2 Quad-Core processor, Emotion UI based on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, 2GB RAM, 13-megapixels camera and 3000mAh battery.
Huawei Ascend Mate is the largest phablet in the market. It comes with 6.1-inch 720p HD display, 1.8GHz Hi-Silicon K3V3 Quad-Core processor, Emotion UI based on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, 8-megapixels camera, 2GB RAM and 4050mAH battery.
Huawei CEO Richard Yu stated that the price of Huawei Ascend D2 will not exceed RMB $4000 and the Huawei Ascend Mate will not exceed RMB $3000.
