(GSM Insider) - MediaTek Set To Introduce 28nm Dual-Core Processor, Codename Wu Song
Lately, MediaTek under the media spotlight as it set to release its first quad-core mobile processor which is known as the MediaTek MT6589. It is said that Sony interested in this budget quad-core processor.
MediaTek not going to stop with the quad-core processor as it set to introduce another processor which is the MediaTek MT6572TD. The codename is Wu Song.
MediaTek MT6572TD is a dual-core processor that based on 28nm architecture. From the name, it showed that MediaTek MT6572TD supports TD-SDMA network of China Mobile.
MediaTek MT6572TD set to appear as early as beginning of next year. However, the attention on MediaTek MT6589 that will launch on December 12th, 2012.
Lenovo, Huawei, LG, Sony, Gionee, TCL, ZTE, Coolpad, Vivo and others manufacturers are interested on this budget quad-core processor.
