(GSM Insider) - HTC Set To Release Smartphone That able To Compete with Samsung Galaxy S4, Codename M7
In this year, the sales performance of HTC was not impressive with as the HTC One Series underperformed. The most important thing is the HTC One X unable to compete with Samsung Galaxy S3 in most of the aspects. So HTC hopes to turn this around at next year.
In the latest rumours from Taiwan stated that HTC preparing the flagship that able to compete with Samsung Galaxy S4 which is known as the M7. It is just a codename or serial number only. The real name remains unknown at this time.
Rumours added that HTC M7 set to come with 5-inch 1080p Full HD display, 2GB of RAM, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core, 13-megapixels camera and Wireless Charging as well.
At the moment, HTC already released three smartphones with 1080p Full HD display to three different countries - HTC Butterfly in China, HTC Droid DNA in the United States and HTC J Butterfly in Japan.
At the moment, the HTC M7 set to make its appearance as early as the CES 2013 on January or on MWC 2013. Some analyst stated that this HTC M7 will arrive on March 2013.
