(GSM Insider)- HTC Becomes Official Smartphone and Tablet Partner of UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League
It is known that football and gadget are always related to man! Both are mens' favourite items as well. Both HTC and UEFA just announced that the Taiwanese smartphone maker going to be the official supplier partner for the European football association in next three years.
The deal between two sides is for 3 years until the end of 2014/2015 season. With this deal, HTC going to supply smartphones and tablets for the UEFA.
"I am pleased to welcome HTC to the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League family," said UEFA General Secretary Gianni Infantino. "Through this partnership, UEFA and HTC will promote European club football to a global audience and bring new opportunities for our fans to engage with the competitions.
"We value the support and commitment of HTC and anticipate that their involvement with these competitions will increase the profile of their brand on a global scale," he added.
"Football elicits so much passion around the world, so we are very excited to be able to enhance fans' ability to enjoy two of the game's biggest club competitions," said Peter Chou, CEO of HTC Corporation. "We'll be working closely with UEFA to offer surprising football experiences to all football fans, and to provide a richer overall mobile experience."
Two weeks ago, HTC hired new Chief Marketing Officer Benjamin Ho in the hope that he is able to turn the company around. With this deal, HTC going big for promotion in the future.
