(GSM Insider) - Asus ME172V Confirmed By EXIF Data At Picasa, Launching At CES 2013?
There are numerous rumours stated that Asus preparing a new tablet which is lower price than the Nexus 7. The Nexus 7 on sale at Google with the price of $199. So how far can Asus go with lower price? The answer is $99. It is approximately $100 bucks cheaper than the Nexus 7.
By end of last month, an Asus tablet with the model number of ME172V spotted at GLBenchmark. Earlier today, it was pop-up at Picasa Web Album. The image showed that it was taken by Asus ME172V. The EXIF data available at Picasa Web Album can easily modified by users without leaving any evidence. So reliable is this?
With the price of $99, Asus ME172V is said to feature 1GHz of processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal memory, 7-inch of display, Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean and 4270mAh battery.
The information of benchmark and EXIF data can easily modified. Furthermore, nothing is yet confirm by Asus yet. With the CES 2013 coming soon, this tablet could makes its appearance at the event at Las Vegas.
