(GSM Insider) - 6.1-inch Huawei Ascend Mate Handset Leaks in More Images, Teaser Released Too
The Huawei Ascend Mate is another monster coming soon from the Chinese manufacturer. The name of Huawei Ascend Mate appeared at our rumour mill for a few months and finally it is coming real soon to us.
Huawei releases the teaser of the Ascend Mate at its Weibo. It showed the 6.1-inch display of the Huawei Ascend Mate and compare to the 5.5-inch of Samsung Galaxy Note 2. From the teaser above, the 5.5-inch is definitely smaller than the monster 6.1-inch.
On the other hand, website from China successfully obtain the handset of Huawei Ascend Mate. The grey colour device at above is said to be the upcoming Huawei Ascend Mate. It is definitely has the 6.1-inch display.
The white device beside Huawei Ascend Mate is said to be the Huawei Ascend D2. Huawei Ascend D2 comes with 5-inch display. So the size is definitely different between the 5-inch and 6.1-inch overall. The Huawei Ascend Mate handset showed us the curve design as well. There is a rear camera at the back. At the top of the device is SIM card slot and 3.5mm audio jack. The speaker was placed at the back of the device.
The possible specs of Huawei Ascend Mate are 1.8Ghz K3V2 quad-core processor, 6-1-inch display with 1080p Full HD display, 2GB of RAM, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, 13-megapixels of rear camera and 4000mAh of battery.
There are rumours stated that Huawei Ascend Mate set to make its appearance at the CES 2013 on next month. Just wait and see.
