(GSM Insider) - Yesterday we reported that China Unicom set to launch the iPhone 5 on November 20, 2012 after several China Unicom retailers posted the information through Weibo. But seems like China Unicom itself denies on this news.
Someone from the inner department of China Unicom confirms that they have yet to receive any notifications from Apple on the launch date of iPhone 5.
On October 30, 2012, WCDMA and CDMA version of iPhone 5 already received approval from Chinese government. The launch date should be around the corner.
For more information, Apple CEO Tim Cook did stated that Apple set to release the iPhone 5 sometime in the December. China Unicom and China Telecom already preparing on the arrival of iPhone 5. The launch date of iPhone 5 could be mid-December instead of November. We shall update you soon on this.
