(GSM Insider) - A mysterious Acer tablet spotted at GL Benchmark, it is known as the Acer Iconia Tab A220. From the name, it is the successor of the A210 which means it has the better specs than the Acer Iconia Tab A210. It is surprise that the full name of the tablet spotted at the benchmark.
There are a few information that leaked at the benchmark result. The processor in Acer Iconia Tab A220 is the Tegra 3 quad-core processor. The maximum frequency of the Tegra 3 is 1.3GHz which is lower than other Tegra 3. The Tegra 3 in HTC One X is 1.5GHz while the one in HTC One X+ is 1.7GHz. This could be a smartphone from Acer to prolong the battery life. The benchmark result also revealed that Acer Iconia Tab A220 preloaded with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean.
At the moment, there are not much information available for the Acer Iconia Tab A220. Since it is the successor of Acer Iconia Tab A210, the specs will be better.
