(GSM Insider) - After Nokia killed off Meego, there are rumours stated that Nokia might kill off Symbian as well. This is because Nokia set to put their bet on Windows Phone. And now, sources tell us that Nokia set to release Carla update for the Symbian devices.
In May, Nokia release Belle FP1 update for Symbian. At that time, there are rumours said that Belle FP1 is the much rumoured Symbian Carla update. But seems like this assumption is wrong after all. Belle FP1 is just a small update that different from Symbian Carla and Donna.
According to further sources, Symbian Carla supports 720p display, dual-core processor and HTML5 as well. The Carla update will bring improvement for Symbian. But it might be the last Symbian and we will not see Donna in the future. [Source]
