(GSM Insider) - The iPhone 5 frenzy is going too mad at the moment. Besides thousands of people queue-ing outside the Apple stores around the world to get their hands on the latest iPhone, there are people who cant wait for it and chose to steal it.
This is what happened in Japan as 33 iPhone 5 were stolen from a KDDI store, 116 iPhone 5 were stolen from Softbank outlet and another 42 iPhone 5 were stolen from a local store. The estimated lost is about $100,000.
Since all stores are nearby, it is believes that this crime was committed by same group of robbers. [Source]
