(GSM Insider) - Today, China based phone manufacturer ZTE announced a new Android 4.0 ICS smartphone in Malaysia - ZTE Acqua. The ZTE Acqua price at RM699, it could be the cheapest Android 4.0 ICS smartphone in Malaysia (If you don't consider those unbranded Androids).
This device comes with 4-inch screen with 480x 800 pixel resolution, 1GHz processor and 512MB RAM. ZTE Acqua is slightly different from the ZTE Skate Acqua that announced at the MWC earlier. ZTE Acqua comes with 3MP rear camera while the ZTE Skate Acqua comes with 5MP rear camera. The ZTE Acqua also comes with 1650mAh battery, HSPA and WiFi connectivity and off course GPS.
Folks from Malaysia wonder whether there will be an 4.1 Jelly Bean upgrade for ZTE Acqua? YES. ZTE promised the update to arrive at October. [Source]
