(GSM Insider) - CEO of NVIDIA, Jen-Hsun Huang said, "The creation of the Google Nexus 7 tablet is not because of cheaper iPad".
From the past, Android tablets struggling under the shadow of Apple's iPads. As more users are comfortable with the Android smartphones, they are going to toward the Android powered tablets rather than iOS powered iPads.
Jen-Hsun Huang said, "We used a long time to build an Android tablets that will added value for users. It is not a replacement for Apple's iPads, but the creation of Google Nexus 7 tablet is for Android users. This Android tablet can let the users easily serve the net. There are more than 100 million Android users around the world."
He added, "There are huge different between the 3.0 Honeycomb and 2.3 Gingerbread. The Honeycomb version is more toward the tablet and the Gingerbread more toward smartphone. But with the introduction of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich that compatible with tablets and smartphones, the users will enjoy same experiences on both.
