Possible Display Panel of iPad Mini / iBook Leaks, 8 inches and Made by LG

(GSM Insider) - The date of iPad Mini is getting near with five days to go. We receive different leaks day by day. Yesterday, the possible prices of smaller iPad spotted in the inventory list in Germany. There are rumours stated that the smaller iPad to name as iBook instead of the iPad Mini.

According to sources, the front display panel that leaked has 4:3 aspect ration. The measurement is 162mm x 124mm which is equivalent to 8.03 inches. The 8.03 inches is close with the rumoured 7.85 inches. Since there are no confirmation, so it is possible that the iPad Mini comes with 8 inches as well. 

From the leaked images, LG's label spotted on the display panel as well. It is possible that the iPad Mini has an In-Cell display too. Lastly, the ribbon cable of the front display panel has been labelled in the similar way like other Apple products.

The Prices of Smaller iPad Leaks In Germany, To Name As iBook Instead of iPad Mini?

(GSM Insider) - With less then seven days to go before Apple announce the smaller iPad, there are more news popup and the latest is on the prices. The prices of iPad Mini reveals by book store in Germany.

From the inventory list of unknown book store in Germany, we can see that the pricing of iPad Mini. There will be many different versions of iPad Mini. iPad Mini with WiFi and iPad Mini with 3G as well. There will be available in 8GB, 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. The cheapest is the 249 while the most expensive is 649. The inventory list does not state on the currency of the prices. So it might be the EURO or USD. 

Another rumour stated that Apple set to name the smaller iPad as the "iBook". We knew that Apple unlikely to use the name which is leaked before the announcement. Just like the third generation of iPad to name as "new iPad" instead of iPad 3. However, the fifth generation of iPhone still follows the sequence as the iPhone 5. Even if Apple uses the name of iBook, it is still logic. This is because the smaller iPad can works as an e-Reader as well and the name iBook will distinguish itself from the iPad and tablet category.

Apple Set 23 October As The Launch Date Of iPad Mini

(GSM Insider) - Maybe the wait is over, the smaller iPad is ready to launch. If this is real, we will have another new option available in the market. It should be a smaller size with lower budget and specs that going after the Google Nexus 7.

According to famous website, Apple set to unveil their own smaller size tablet at 23 October. However, there are no location yet on the place where the event going to held at. It is said to be a private event with certain people get invitation only. If you are interested to attend the event, just pray that you are going to receive the invitation very soon. 

The iPad Mini is said to feature a 7.85 inches display which is larger than the Nexus 7 tablet a bit. The overall specs are no going to be powerful as Apple set to keep the price at around $199 to make it competitive in the market. There will be a rear camera but without LED flash which is suitable for daily usage.

Samsung Claims Apple's iPhone 5, iPad and iPod Infringe Its Patents, Court Hearing at 2014

Google CEO Confirms No Google Maps App For Apple iOS 6 at The Moment
