Sony Xperia Z is a 5-inch display smartphone or it is known as the phablet (for five inch and above). The display is 1080p full HD resolution with Bravia Engine. In other words, the Bravia Engine that features on the television being used in this Sony Xperia Z. Try to imagine the display of full HD TV features on this Sony Xperia Z. How good is it!

It features the 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064. If you are a gadget geek, sure that you knew about this S4 Pro quad-core processor. It is one of the fastest quad-core processor available "in the market". It is faster than those processors like Samsung Exynos 4412, Huawei Hi-Silicon K3V2 and Tegra 3. Off course, the new generation mobile processors like Snapdragon 800, Samsung  Exynos 5 Octa, NVIDIA Tegra 4 and the upcoming Huawei Hi-Silicon K3V3 are faster than Snapdragon S4 Pro. This Snapdragon S4 Pro is one of the most popular processor among the manufacturers.

To make it even better, Sony Xperia Z features 2GB of RAM. With the combination of Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM, you multitasking must be smoother than ever. The Android 4.1 Jelly Bean surely part of the Sony Xperia Z. The Google Now, Project Butter and enhanced features are the important components of the Jelly Bean. This is definitely enhanced the smartphone or phablet experience of users in the future.

The camera is one of the main attention as well. It features a 13-megapixels rear-facing camera and 2-megapixels front camera. First of all, GSM Insider revealed that Sony preparing new smartphone features the Cyber-Shot camera back in November last year. From the button design of Sony Xperia Z, it is indeed looks like the Sony Ericsson K810 with Cyber-Shot. If you used the Sony Ericsson K810 before, you knew that it features a round camera button. That is the same design with the Sony Xperia Z. Furthermore, the model number of Sony Xperia Z is starts from alphabet "C". This shows that the camera on Sony Xperia Z could be the Cyber-Shot camera.

Last but not least, Sony Xperia Z features water-proof, dust-proof and scratch-proof. If you havent watched the video of Sony Xperia Z, you can watch it here. It showcased the water-proof and dust-proof feature and you will know how strong this Sony Xperia Z. Although the water-proof feature is used in Japanese market for a long time, but this feature still not yet popular at the global market. The introduction of Sony Xperia Z definite brings much attention from the users worldwide.

Sony Xperia Z is the GSM Insider's Best Smartphone of CES 2013. Anyone getting this Sony Xperia Z in the future?
