(GSM Insider) - Are you having problem in visiting CyanogenMod.com and the website is not responsive after all? Dont worry. Cyanogen still there for you. The CyanogenMod custom ROMs still available for you as the domain changed. CyanogenMod ROMs are probably the best Android custom ROMs in town.

The story started from the domain owner impersonated the CyanogenMod owner Steve to make referral deals with community sites. This action was just simply cheating, no doubt about it.

After that, team Cyanogen decided to ask the person return the domain. But the person need $10,000 to settle the issue. So, team Cyanogen decided to switch to Cyanogenmod.org after refused to pay the huge sum of money.

So the new domain for CyanogenMod ROMs is now at Cyanogenmod.org. We tried to open the Cyanogenmod.com. But it does not direct us to Cyanogenmod.org.

We just hope team Cyanogen able to continue to provide us the best custom ROMs in the market regarding the domain name.

CyanogenMOD No Longer Supports Samsung Devices In The Future

(GSM Insider) - The Exynos processor from Samsung might be powerful, but this is not a good processor for those who loves to root and customize their devices. According to world's most popular CyanogenMOD ROM member, they no longer provides update for the devices that runs on Exynos processor.

According to codeworkx in Xda developers forum, it is very hard for developers to develop custom ROMs. This is because due to the lack of source code and information from Samsung on the Exynos processor.

According to codeworkx, processors from Qualcomm and Texas Instruments are better than the Exynos from Samsung. He stated that the Jelly Bean Custom ROM for Samsung Galaxy S2 I9100G that powered by TI OMAP CPU is stable than the Exynos CPU.

From these situation, those who interested to root and develop or install custom ROMs. Please dont purchase Samsung devices that powered by Exynos processor soon.  [Source]
