LG Optimus G Gets Green Light For China, Is It Too Late?

(GSM Insider) - LG Optimus G Gets Green Light For China, Is It Too Late?

The LG Optimus G Pro already officially announced in the last week. It is definitely better than the LG Optimus G. But the LG Optimus G just gets the green light for launch in the China, world's largest smartphone market.

Since the LG Nexus 4 isn't available in China, so those who want the LG Nexus 4 can get the LG Optimus G as a replacement. This is because the LG Nexus 4 was built based on the LG Optimus G.

The LG Optimus G for the Chinese market comes with the model number of LG E975. It supports the GSM and WCDMA network. So it could be heading to the China Unicom as well.

The documents from local authority hinted that the LG Optimus G in China features 13-megapixels camera and not the 8-megapixels camera at the back.

LG Optimus G E975 in China features a 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 quad-core processor, 4.7-inch 1280 x 768 display, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of ROM. LG Optimus G E975 runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

No pricing and release date of the LG Optimus G E975 in China. But the approval by local authority hints that it is set for launch soon.
