(GSM Insider) - LG Optimus 4X HD, L9 and L7 Getting Jelly Bean Update On 1H 2013, Says LG Hong Kong.
Four days ago, GSM Insider revealed that LG Optimus 4X HD will get the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update on Q1 2013. Earlier today, LG itself confirms that the LG Optimus 4X HD will get the Jelly Bean update soon.
According to LG Hong Kong, it announces that the LG Optimus 4X HD, LG Optimus L9 and LG Optimus L9 will get the Jelly Bean update on first half of 2013. This must be a good news for the users of these three devices.
LG Hong Kong does state the model numbers of these three devices as well. LG Optimus 4X HD P880, LG Optimus L9 P765 and LG Optimus L7 P705 are the devices that getting the Jelly Bean soon. If your device not having the same model number, then you should wait a little bit longer.
LG Hong Kong doesn't mention on whether these devices will receive Android 4.1.2 or Android 4.1.2 or Android 4.2. It only mentioned about the Jelly Bean update. Let's say LG decides to roll out the Android 4.2, then LG Optimus 4X HD will be the one to get it since it is the most advanced among all three devices.
