(GSM Insider) - First Batch of Huawei Ascend W1 Only Half Million Units?
Huawei Ascend W1 is the first every Windows Phone 8 device from the Chinese company. The first batch of Huawei Ascend W1 to be only 500,000 units, GSM Insider understands.
Source from China, WPDang states that Huawei Ascend W1 is set to produce half million units for the first batch and more will come after the demand is stable. The price of Huawei Ascend W1 is not yet confirm as still under discussion.
Huawei Ascend W1 powered by Snapdragon S4 dual-core processor and having 4-inch display. It is same range product like the Nokia Lumia 620 and HTC 8S. Nokia Lumia 620 is slight smaller with its 3.8-inch display.
HTC 8S and Nokia Lumia 920 is priced at RMB $1999 in China. So the price of Huawei Ascend W1 should be around RMB $1699 to RMB $1999.
GSM Insider revealed that high end Huawei Ascend W2 in works as set for launch at the MWC 2013.
