(GSM Insider) - Nubia Z5 Officially Launched, 5-inch 1080p Display, Quad-Core, 2GB RAM and 32GB ROM
Today is the day of the arrival of the latest smartphone - Nubia Z5. It is indeed a new brand in the smartphone market but from an experience company - ZTE. Nubia brand is focusing on luxury and high end smartphone for the market.
The Nubia Z5 indeed was unveiled at the launch event on today, Boxing Day 2012. Nubia Z5 is a high end smartphone with powerful and impressive specs inside. Nubia Z5 comes with 5-inch display. The display has 1080p Full HD resolution with the 443PPI. The display on Nubia Z5 featuring the OGS technology from Sharp. It is powered by 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM. The processor is similar like Oppo Find 5, XiaoMi Phone 2, LG Nexus 4 and HTC Butterfly.
Nubia Z5 runs on Nubia UI. This is the newly developed user interface from Nubia itself. The Nubia UI was developed based on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Nubia made more than 3102 modifications on its Nubia UI. It gives new and enhance feeling to the users. Nubia Z5 is compatible with all three different networks in China as well.
The Nubia Z5 is the thinnest among those 5-inch phablets in the market with 7.6mm body. It is also the lightest 5-inch phablet with 126g. The body of Nubia Z5 is made from premium materials included metal, plastic and glass. Other than this, Nubia Z5 has the thinnest bezel among all smartphones in the world with only 2.67mm.
The camera that features on Nubia Z5 is certainly the premium as well which is 13-megapixels shooter at the back. The front camera is features at least 2-megapixels shooter. It has many added features to the camera as well. Another special feature of Nubia Z5 is user no need to press any button to switch into silent mode. User just need to turn the device around and it will turn into the silent mode. Very useful for business users who always in meeting. Nubia Z5 included WiFi Display, Dolby Digital Plus, NFC, Yamaha Sound, GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth and other common features.
Nubia Z5 32GB priced at RMB $3456 in China. It is available in another version which is the Nubia Z5 Titanium version which is priced at RMB $7890.
