(GSM Insider) - Android 4.2 still using the same Jelly Bean name like the Android 4.1 version. Recently, ZTE U880E is the first non-Nexus smartphone received Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Soon, ZTE N880E is going to be the first Non-Nexus smartphone to received Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
Earlier today, ZTE announced that the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean update already on the BETA process. So it will release to ZTE N880E anytime soon.
ZTE N880E going to enjoy the Google Now, Photosphere and other features that available from Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. With this update, ZTE N880E will become the first manufacturer to release 4.2 Jelly Bean update.
ZTE stated that more devices with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean coming soon in the market. It is important for other manufacturers to learn from the work-rate of ZTE in releasing Android update.
