(GSM Insider) - Oppo Find 5 leaked months ago, it is said to come with 6.9mm thick. It could be the thinnest phablet. However, we cannot confirm anything till Oppo officially unveiled it. Finally, Oppo CEO confirmed this news at his Weibo. The Oppo Find 5 comes with the thickness around 8 - 9mm. Therefore, the Oppo Find 5 headset leaked a month ago could be just a mock up photo.

Earlier, there are numerous reports stated that Oppo Find 5 is a 6.9mm thick 1080p Full HD phablet. But it is hard to confirm as nothing is official yet.
According to Oppo CEO Chen Mingyong, he confirmed that the thickness of Oppo Find 5 will come with 8 - 9mm thick instead of just 6.9mm. This could be a bad news for those who want thin device in China.
Oppo CEO also confirmed that the Oppo Find 5 already in production stage as everything set to release in this month. The Oppo Find 5 set to unveil within this month, November 2012. To reassure Oppo Find 5 existence, he posted his Weibo status with the Oppo Find 5 device which can be seen in image above.
Oppo CEO also confirmed that the display will be above 720p HD. At least at the moment, we can knew some of the specs of Oppo Find 5. It will feature a 5 inches display which is made by Sharp. The display resolution is 1080p Full HD with 441 ppi. The ppi will be the highest among other smartphones in the market. The display material will be the IGZO display from Sharp.
The processor still the same as the Snapdragon S4 PRO APQ8064. This processor is the same like the processor in LG Nexus 4, LG Optimus G and XiaoMi Phone 2. The RAM memory will be 2GB large. It will feature at least Android 4.1 Jelly Bean on board. It has two versions - 16GB and 32GB for the internal memory.
The interesting part is Oppo Find 5 set to feature the Qi Wireless Charging as well. So the wireless charging is getting popular day by day. The camera is 12 mega-pixels shooter. It equipped with 2500mAh battery.
The price is yet to reveal, but it should be around RMB $2998 for 16GB and RMB $3298 for 32GB version.
