Mysterious Lenovo Smartphone Benchmarked, Comes With MediaTek MT6589 Quad-Core

(GSM Insider) - 2012 will be the year for quad-core as you can see there are so many quad-core processor available in the market. From NVIDIA Tegra 3 to Samsung Exynos until the Snapdragon S4 Pro and Huawei K3V2. The latest quad-core processor to arrive is the MT6589 from MediaTek. 



The above image showed that it is a Lenovo smartphone that powered by MediaTek MT6589 quad-core processor. There are no name on the Lenovo device. The main point is still the MT6589 processor.

The Lenovo smartphone scores 9866 points at the AnTuTu Benchmark result. The AnTuTu Benchmark did reveal the possible specs of the mysterious Lenovo smartphone.

The mysterious Lenovo smartphone packed with 1.2GHz MediaTek MT6589 quad-core processor. The GPU is PowerVR SGX 544MP. The display resolution is 960 x 540 pixels. It has 1GB of RAM.

The mysterious Lenovo smartphone runs on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. It has 8-megapixels camera as well. Not a bad quad-core smartphone, but the resolution is a bit lower.

MediaTek will only start the production of MT6589 by next year. So this mysterious Lenovo smartphone will only made it appearance in next year.
