(GSM Insider) - Few days before, we reported that XiaoMi digital media receiver leaked together with Apple TV. It is said that XiaoMi digital media receiver will run on Android operating system.
Finally, there is a name for XiaoMi digital media receiver - Mi TV. The name is similar with the Apple TV. But this is a digital media receiver that runs on Android operating system. A digital media receiver with Mi TV logo spotted at the leaked images. The Xi TV is in rectangular size instead of the square size. A remove control also spotted in the leaked images.
According to rumours. Mi TV supports HDMI and AV media. Furthermore, it supports WiFi and cable connectivity. The price is said to be around RMB $499. It is interesting to see whether XiaoMi able to integrate Air Play into the Mi TV.
