Sony C660X 'Yuga' Benchmark Leaks, Could Be Running On 1.5GHz Quad-Core

(GSM Insider) - Last week we reported that Sony set to introduce its first quad-core smartphone which is known as 'Odin'. Seems like Sony is not preparing only one quad-core smartphone but more then one. The latest to leak is the Sony smartphone which is known as the 'Yuga'.

'Yuga' is just a codename for the upcoming smartphone from Sony Mobile. Sony 'Yuga' even appears at the benchmark result. From the benchmark result, it is shows that the model of Sony 'Yuga' is C6603. But we prefer to call it C660X because of the digit 3 is represents region. So different regions have different digit.

At the benchmark result, Sony C660X 'Yuga' running on a 1.5GHz processor. Sony C660X 'Yuga' managed to score 11321 points at the benchmark while the Sony Xperia T that powered by dual-core Snapdragon S4 Plus managed to scored 8270 points and the LG Optimus G that powered by quad-core Snapdragon S4 PRO managed to scored 13643 points. From this, we can clearly analysed that the Sony C660X 'Yuga' is nearer to the Snapdragon S4 Pro. In other words, Sony C660X 'Yuga' could have a quad-core processor. Furthermore, it does not state the Android version of Sony C660X 'Yuga'. We expect it is running with 4.1 Jelly Bean

From the possible quad-core processor, it is very likely that Sony C660X 'Yuga' powered by the Snapdragon S4 PRO APQ8064 which is very common. Asus Padfone 2, LG Optimus G and XiaoMi Phone 2 powered by this processor as well. Perhaps the points are lower due to the device still at testing level. We can confirm more to come soon. Stay tune.  [Ameblo.jp]
