Samsung, LG, Pantech and Sony Set To Release 1080p Full HD Smartphone In 2013

(GSM Insider) - HTC J Butterfly unveiled in last week and it is the world's first Android smartphone with 1080p Full HD display at the moment. How about other manufacturers? Yes. Other manufacturers are preparing the 1080p Full HD as well.


According to source from Korea, three Korean companies Samsung, LG and Pantech and one Japanese company Sony set to release 1080p full HD smartphone in next year. In the report, all these companies are preparing on at least one smartphone which is on 1080p full HD. 

Sony Odin C660X is set to come with 1080p full HD resolution. However, there are no news yet on the possible names of full HD smartphone from LG, Samsung and Pantech. 

The released of HTC J Butterfly will definitely kick off the battle of 1080p full HD smartphone in the market. But the war expected to start on 1H of 2013. Still a few months to go before 1080p full HD smartphone becomes popular.
