Google Confirmed LG Nexus 4 Doesn't Have 4G LTE Connectivity, But Why?

(GSM Insider) - After LG Nexus 4 announced by Google, it is surprised that the latest Nexus smartphone does not support 4G LTE connectivity. You might ask why Google and LG left out the fast connectivity network from its fourth generation smartphone? We might have answer for you.

First of all, Google stated that it is hard to produce 4G LTE enabled device without the support from mobile operator. Perhaps, this is one of the main reason as there only one LG Nexus 4 available in the market. It is different from Samsung Galaxy Nexus which has variety of variants.

Another reason stated by Google is battery life. 4G LTE enabled devices are consume more battery compare to others. In order to solve the Android battery issue, LG Nexus 4 does not come with 4G LTE connectivity.

Since LG Nexus 4 has the specs like the LG Optimus G, those who wanted 4G LTE connectivity device can opted for Optimus G instead of LG Nexus 4. It is a high cost for Google if 4G LTE integrated into the LG Nexus 4. In order to cut down the cost, LG Nexus 4 does not have 4G LTE connectivity so that the price remains competitive in the market.

The explanations from Google remains unknown why LG Nexus 4 does not have 4G LTE connectivity. Just forget about the 4G LTE connectivity. Dont you want a Nexus smartphone with powerful specs and affordable price?
