(GSM Insider) - We knew that the Google Nexus 7 already very cheap in the market as it costs as low as $199 only with the 8GB version. You might think that this already very cheap. But Google does not agree with this as even cheaper tablet is coming soon.
We reported that Apple set to unveil the iPad Mini on 23th October 2012 and the prices of iPad Mini also will start from as low as $249. The smaller iPad is one of the strategies from Apple to encounter on the challenges from the Google Nexus 7. Google entered the tablet with such low price tablet and Nexus 7 is one of the best selling tablet at the moment.
According to blog sources, the "even cheaper" $99 Nexus tablet is not built by Asus. Perhaps Google decided to move on for manufacturers to produce its upcoming new tablet. Digitimes also reported before that Google is preparing the "even cheaper" $99 Nexus tablet.
If these rumours are true, it is another step from Google to attack on Apple in the tablet market. While the Apple's smaller iPad coming very soon. Google seems like already set the strategy on the "even cheaper" $99 Nexus tablet. The war on budget tablet might start as soon as next week.
