When PSP Meets Android, And It Became... Android Player


(GSM Insider) - Since Sony launched the PSP a few years back. There are many companies that tried to copy its design. But to avoid involvement in lawsuit, all those copied devices are not so impressive. And now, another PSP look alike device spotted in China that runs on Android operating system.

Hmmm. China is a land of copycat? Perhaps. An unknown Chinese company JXD unveils a device that look like the Sony PSP. Its model number is S602. So the name of the device is JXD S602. From the image, we can see the player also name as the Android Player. It is the JXD Android Player S602. 

The PSP look alike Android Player comes with 1GHz ARM Cortex-A8 processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of ROM with microSD expansion, PowerVR SGX531 GPU and also G-Sensor for motion games. The JXD Android Player S602 comes with a very low quality VGA camera, WiFi connectivity, HDMI Port and 2500mAh battery. The battery power are quite large if just for gaming purposes. Its running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. WOAH!

The price of JXD S602 set at 66 USD. OMG! So cheap! But the specs is not so cheap what. For a gaming device, you dont need any high camera, right? And its runs on ICS! Its very cheap! Hope we get more news on this soon! [Source]
